Faculty of English for Specific Purposes

Established in 1967, the Faculty of English for Specific Purposes has been dedicated to providing English language instruction to students from various faculties across the university, particularly those pursuing non-English majors. Over the decades, the faculty has evolved significantly, maintaining its commitment to excellence in both teaching and research. The Faculty of ESP places a strong emphasis on developing its human resources. All faculty members hold Master's degrees, and some have earned Ph.D. degrees in relevant fields. In addition, several faculty lecturers are currently pursuing doctoral studies. This academic foundation ensures the delivery of high-quality instruction tailored to the specific needs of learners in diverse disciplines. Additionally, the faculty is also committed to enhancing its research competence. ESP lecturers’ efforts are continually made to increase the quality and impact of academic publications in both local and international journals. ESP’s current organizational structure is as follows:
